Dalhousie Association of Psychology Students

The Dalhousie Association of Psychology Students (DAPS) is committed to enhancing the university experience of all psychology students, both academically and socially, and to promote psychology in the community. The society shall consist of all students enrolled at Dalhousie University and Kings College, who have completed or are registered in at least one psychology course. The goal of DAPS is to inform students about the Psychology program, to direct students to appropriate professors when consultation is required, and to assist students with course selection and in their dealings with the department. We want to introduce and involve first year Science students in the department of Psychology, to represent the interests of undergraduate Psychology students at departmental meetings, curriculum meetings, etc. and within the university community. We also want to provide opportunities for students to interact both socially and academically, and to promote our program in the community in a positive and helpful manner.
