Dalhousie Baseball Team (DBT)

We, as the Dalhousie Baseball Team, provide a supportive and competitive environment for baseball enthusiasts within the Dal student body. We aim to promote a love of the sport while also building teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. One of our goals is to create an environment, both on and off the field, that is inviting and supportive of high-level athletes. We organize practices, games, and road trips to proudly represent Dalhousie against opposing universities and colleges, while connecting our members with others who share a similar passion for baseball, to enhance their university experiences. Within the Dalhousie community, we encourage healthy lifestyles and physical fitness. As well as encouraging our members to join executive roles within the society to bring fresh ideas to the team. Aiding the executive board helps build leadership and teamwork capabilities and provides members with an area to refine their skills. Overall, the Dalhousie Baseball Society aims to provide a community for baseball enthusiasts to continue their passion through university. While also creating a family-like community for members. We pride ourselves on having an inclusive, family-like team that allows our players, volunteers, and coaches to learn skills and grow as humans. The opportunity to represent Dalhousie is also a driving factor for students to join our team.
