Dalhousie Board Gaming Society (DBGS)

The Dalhousie Board Gaming Society hosts weekly meetings as well as other events throughout the Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters where we invite anyone to come and play boardgames or simply socialize in a relaxed environment. We provide a large collection of society-owned board games for everyone to play as well as invite members to bring their own games to play. We never charge any sort of entrance fee for people to enjoy our games and have a large group of senior members who are always willing to teach games with new members or people who aren't as familiar with board games. We seek to create a safe environment that everyone feels welcomed and safe in. Our meetings provide an amazing way for students from all faculties to meet new people and socialize outside of their normal circles. It also proves to be an awesome way to escape the stress of classes and simply relax with your friends for a while. Our society prides itself in the friendly community it has created and how many students we have had some sort of positive impact on.
