Dalhousie Golf Club

The Dalhousie University Golf Club (Dal Golf) aims to facilitate access to golf for as many Dalhousie University students, faculty, and staff as possible, and to organize competitive play for full time Dalhousie students. Dalhousie Golf has a mission to grow the presence of golf in our diverse university community through a focus on engaging both individuals of all backgrounds in the sport. Facilitating access to golf is done in two ways: participation in the Atlantic Canadian Collegiate Golf Association (ACCGA) and organization of team tryouts and practices for members of the Dalhousie Golf Club. Each Fall, Atlantic Canadian Collegiate Golf Association hosts golf tournaments for universities in Atlantic Canada – typically, three tournaments held in Nova Scotia with both men’s and women’s team and individual divisions in each competition. The Dalhousie Golf Club is responsible for fielding a team to represent Dalhousie University at these events. A qualifying event (18 holes if possible) is to be held prior to allow as many players as possible the opportunity to make the team, and practices will be held throughout the tournament season for team members.
