Dalhousie Kings Ultimate Team (DKUT)

Dalhousie King’s Ultimate Team (DKUT) is a Tier 1 sports club that provides students with opportunities to play, practice, and compete in ultimate frisbee. We organize regular practices, attend university tournaments throughout the academic year, and send teams to the Canadian Atlantic University Ultimate Championships (CAUUCS) and Canadian University Ultimate Championships (CUUCs). DKUT supports both competitive and developmental players, with membership open to students regardless of previous experience or skill level. DKUT contributes to the Dalhousie student community by offering an accessible and team-oriented extracurricular activity that promotes physical activity, leadership, and student involvement. Members have the chance to be involved at practices, tournaments, fundraising events, club meetings, and elections, with opportunities to take on leadership roles such as captain or spirit captain. The club also hosts events and a local tournament (the “Tournament of Fools” every April) that engage both students and ultimate teams from around the Maritimes.
