The Dalhousie Law Students’ Society represents and advances the interests of the students at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. The Dalhousie Law Students’ Society acts as the primary representative of students at the Schulich School of Law to all levels of the University administration, the Dalhousie Students’ Union, and to broader communities in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Canada. The mission of the Dalhousie Law Students’ Society is to: 1. promote unity and diversity among Dalhousie law students; 2. promote and organize academic, social, wellness, and athletic activities for Dalhousie law students; 3. promote Dalhousie law student participation in the decision-making processes of the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, including by appointing student representatives to the Faculty Council and the Faculty Standing Committees; and 4. advocate for the rights and interests of Dalhousie law students.
