Dalhousie Sports Business Society (DSBS)

The Dalhousie Sports Business Society (DSBS) is dedicated to connecting students with opportunities, insights, and experiences within the global sports industry. Our mission is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application by exposing members to the business side of sport through networking, professional development, and experiential learning. DSBS creates an environment where students can explore careers across areas such as marketing, partnerships, operations, media, and athlete representation, while building meaningful connections with industry professionals. Within the Dalhousie student community, DSBS serves as a hub for ambitious, like-minded students interested in the intersection of sport and business. We host events such as guest speaker sessions, panel discussions, behind-the-scenes industry experiences, and conference opportunities that allow members to engage directly with professionals and organizations.
