Dalhousie Synchronized Swimming Club

Dalhousie Synchro Club has been operating since 2018. Since then, we have been training and competing to proudly represent Dalhousie at national competitions across Canada. We support both experienced athletes that hope to continue their commitment to artistic swimming in their post-secondary studies, as well as beginners who wish to try a new sport. Dalhousie Synchro is a member of the Canadian University Artistic Swimming League, a league in which two semi-national and national competitions are organized for university synchronized swimming clubs across Canada to compete in each season. As we are the only Atlantic Canada university-level synchro club, these two competitions are our only opportunities to compete during our seasons. We train consistently throughout the year to prepare for competition and foster a welcoming, motivating environment for all of our members at each practice. Members of Dal Synchro are part of either our experienced or novice team and, if they so wish, are able to take on an additional role of student coach / choreographer for their team. Dal Synchro values fostering a continued love for sport and athleticism, while instilling values such as strong work ethic, time management, and teamwork for all members.
