Dalhousie Vietnamese Students' Association

The Dalhousie Vietnamese Students' Association (DVSA) aims to promote and raise awareness of the rich culture and heritage of Vietnam. By creating a platform for Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese students, we encourage learning and celebration of Vietnamese diverse traditions. DVSA also supports Vietnamese students to transfer into the new Canadian university environment smoothly. Understanding the challenges of cultural adaptation, we offer a supportive space for students to connect and find a sense of home. Through culture exchanges and community events, we not only celebrate Vietnamese culture but also embrace Canadian traditions and those from around the world. This helps our members navigate cultural differences and enjoy their university experience while maintaining their cultural roots
