Heart4Heart Dalhousie Chapter

Heart4Heart Dalhousie Chapter is a non-profit, student-run charity that raises money to provide life-saving surgeries for children suffering from congenital heart disease in developing countries. We are one of many chapters at Canadian universities and are partnered with Gift of Life International, and collectively, we have been successful in funding 77 surgeries to date. Our mission is to fundraise to sponsor life-saving procedures for children on an individualistic basis and raise awareness of congenital heart disease and global health inequity within the Dalhousie community. We do this by collaborating to create community-based fundraisers and educational campaigns, fostering a space for students to create positive change in and beyond Dalhousie Campus.
