Her Story Her Future: Malala Fund Supporters

Her Story Her Future is a society that was first ratified at Dalhousie University in May 2025. This society’s goal is to organize post-secondary students who want to use their voices to advocate for the over 122 million school-aged girls out of the classroom around the world. Our purpose as a society is to host monthly advocacy projects, as well as bimonthly fundraising initiatives to raise both funds and awareness for education and gender equity. This society is a project that the founders, Briley and Omar, have wanted to start for over a year, and has already seen positive reinforcement from other Dalhousie students who are also eager to help advocate for girls’ rights to education. Last year, we were able to run bake sales, financial literacy events, and advocacy sessions. All proceeds raised will continue to be donated to the Malala Fund, an international organization that shares our main mission statement: Every girl deserves to learn.
