Mentorship in Medicine

Founding medical student at Dalhousie University in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club will collaborate with medical students and physicians from various disciplines at the institution to host a series of workshops/sessions for high school students in underserved communities. Participants will belong to underrepresented groups in medical and surgical specalities, including: individuals belonging to racialized groups, individuals from low-income backgrounds, and/or individuals that are female-identifying. These sessions will be interactive and encourage students to partake in activities that represent the CanMEDS roles, curriculum vitae development and scientific literature.
